One area that we don’t tend to cover however; is flash design or some of the scripts available; the reason for this is due to the time spent designing flash, we believe that time is best spent adding actual content and optimizing your website so has the best possible chance of reaching the best results in search engines etc. The main issue with flash sites is you also need to create a html version of the website, so is fully accessible to visitors who do not have the Flash player installed, in fact many visitors will simply click the back button on their browser back to the search engine to find an alternative website, which intern means you have lost potential customers and for no reason other than they were unable to navigate your website or view correctly.
Additionally designing your website with flash increases the overall cost of your website due to the additional time required in designing the flash content and additional flash pages.
